Stuck on something, hit a bug, or have a question about your books? Here's how to reach us, plus quick answers to the things people ask most.
Contact us
Email us anytime. We usually reply within one business day. If it's about a specific transaction or screen, a screenshot helps us help you faster.
Oberlin24 is invite-only right now, so there's no public sign-up. If you were invited and can't get in, email us and we'll sort it out.
Quick answers
Connecting a bank
Go to onboarding or Settings and choose to connect a bank. We use Plaid for the connection, so your bank login goes straight to Plaid and we never see it. Once connected, your transactions flow in automatically.
Adding a receipt or bill
On iPhone, tap the camera or attach button to snap a photo or pick one from your library. You can also forward a bill by email. Oberlin24 reads the vendor, amount, and date, then matches it to the bank charge that paid it.
Categorizing and Schedule E
Each transaction is sorted onto the right Schedule E line. To change one, open it from the ledger and recategorize, reassign the property, split it, or exclude it. You can also write a rule so similar charges are categorized the same way going forward.
Reconciling an account
Open the Reconcile view for an account and Oberlin24 checks your books against your statement. It flags anything missing or extra so you can add, remove, or fix it until the balance ties out.
Exporting for taxes
The Taxes view shows a live Schedule E by property. When you're ready, export it for your accountant with one tap.
Using the assistant
Ask plain-English questions about your own numbers, or tell it to do something like record a move-out or run a sell-vs-1031. It always shows a preview before it saves anything.
Your account and data
- Export your data anytime in JSON or CSV.
- Disconnect a bank or Gmail connection instantly in Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes everything and revokes our access to your connected Plaid and Gmail accounts. It can't be undone.
For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
